1. The call

Tell us the appliance and what it is doing. Symptoms are enough. We book a window that suits you.

2. The diagnostic

Flat $80. The technician tests on site and finds the actual fault, not the likely one. The fee is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.

3. The estimate

Written estimate before any part is ordered or fitted. Parts and labor are itemised. If the part has a long lead time, you are told before you commit.

4. The repair

Genuine OEM parts only. 90 days on labor, 365 days on parts.

Who does the work

EPA Section 608 certified technicians for sealed-system work. Sealed-system work on Thermador refrigeration requires it by law, and we do not subcontract it.

What will the estimate say?

It names the part, the labor and the lead time. Before the technician arrives, the table below is the honest version of the same answer: flat $80 to diagnose, credited, then a band per failure.

A band, not a quote. Which part failed, whether the appliance has to come out of its cabinet to reach it, and whether the sealed system is opened all move the figure inside it, so the firm number is written down once the fault has a name. What happens on the first visit?

The technician tests on site and names the fault — supply first, then the installation and the air path, then the mechanism, and the electronics last. That is the $80 diagnostic, and it is credited to the repair if you go ahead.

When do I see a number?

Before anything is ordered. Written estimate before any part is ordered or fitted. Parts and labor are itemised and the lead time is stated, so you can approve, decline or take the diagnosis elsewhere. Finished repairs run $170–$2,270 for parts and labor.

Who does sealed-system refrigeration work?

We do, in house. EPA Section 608 certified technicians for sealed-system work. Refrigerant work is not subcontracted, and if the sealed system is the fault you are told what it costs before anything is opened.
