90 / 365 day warranty

90 Days on the labor we performed, from the date of the repair.
365 Days on every part we supply and fit. Genuine OEM parts only.
None To pay to come back out on a covered claim. No second diagnostic fee.

If the repair we carried out fails inside the window, we come back and make it right. No second $80.

What is covered

  • The fault we diagnosed and repaired, if it returns.
  • A part we supplied that fails inside 365 days.
  • Our workmanship on that repair for 90 days.
  • The return visit itself: travel and labor on a covered claim.

What is not covered

  • A different fault that appears later. A new fault gets a new diagnostic.
  • Damage from a power event, a flood, or impact after we left. Duval County gets roughly 68 thunderstorm days a year and a surge can take a control board that was healthy when we tested it.
  • Wear that returns because routine upkeep was skipped — a condenser left to mat over, hood filters left loaded, a water filter run long past its date. Maintenance is a load, not a defect.
  • Work another party performed on the appliance after ours.
  • Parts you sourced yourself. We warrant what we supply.

How to claim

Call Northbank Kitchen Service on (904) 395-4339, say it is a warranty return, and describe what the appliance is doing now. We check the job record for the original repair date and book the return visit.

Your manufacturer warranty

If the appliance is still inside its Thermador warranty, use that first — it costs you nothing. Independent work can affect coverage that is still in force, so check your own terms before booking any outside shop, this one included.

Full commercial terms are on the terms page. Pricing is on the pricing page.

Outside the window

What would a repair cost once the warranty has run out?

Inside the window a covered claim costs nothing at all — no second $80, no travel, no labor. Outside it, a new fault is quoted from the same table as any other visit.

Thermador repair bands in Jacksonville, Duval County — parts and labor fitted, with the $80 diagnostic credited against them.
What failed Cost, fitted
The diagnostic visit $80, credited
Igniter, spark module or surface element $200–$500
Oven thermostat or temperature sensor $170–$570
Bake or broil element $200–$530
Convection fan or motor $250–$660
Control board or touch panel $410–$1,010
Door hinge, glass or seal $180–$700
Refrigeration column sealed system $910–$2,270

A band, not a quote. Which part failed, whether the appliance has to come out of its cabinet to reach it, and whether the sealed system is opened all move the figure inside it, so the firm number is written down once the fault has a name. Written estimate before any part is ordered or fitted. The whole price book is on the pricing page.

Claims, in plain terms

What does the warranty actually cover?

The fault we diagnosed and repaired, for 90 days on our labor and 365 days on the part we supplied, including the return visit itself. A different fault that appears later is a new diagnosis, not a claim.

Do I pay the diagnostic again on a warranty return?

No. A covered claim costs nothing: no second $80, no travel, no labor. Call, say it is a warranty return, and describe what the appliance is doing now.

What would a repair outside the warranty cost?

The same book as any other visit: $80 to diagnose, credited to the work, and $170–$2,270 for parts and labor depending on what failed. Written estimate before any part is ordered or fitted.

After the repair held

What owners said once the job had settled

4.7 out of 5, from 66 customer reviews. A few of them are below; the rest sit on the page for the repair or the part of town they were filed in. One kitchen and one fault apiece, printed as they reached us.
  • Wind off the water kept driving the damper open and letting cold air back down the duct. He fitted a proper spring-loaded damper and sealed the collar. Better, though on the roughest days I can still hear it move.

    Nathanael B.

  • Grease had carried past loaded filters into the housing and the fan was slowing. He degreased the housing, fitted new baffles, and set the speed calibration. The kitchen clears in half the time.

    Lysander G.

  • The cooktop kept throwing itself off mid-simmer. Salt-laden air had loaded the intake mesh under the counter until nothing could breathe. He cleared it, checked the exhaust path, and it has not cut out since.

    Montague D.
